Professional Members of our Association are both knowledgeable and creative in how they deliver materials and knowledge to the Candidates they serve.  BEST PRACTICES reflect examples of different delivery approaches to our common competencies.

So, You've Been Called OVERQUALIFIED, Bob Maher, CMF  The job market puts a mask on itself through the screening process. You've expanded your target market and sought out jobs that were not quite "the right" level, but still get rejected and sometimes told that you're "overqualified."

A Resume MAP, Bob Maher, CMF  A traditional resumes communicates what you have already done... sort of a "historical epitaph" of your past. This M.A.P. encourages you to communicate what you are capable of and motivated to do in the future, using your past as supportive evidence.  Its easy to make a resume look and read well... but does YOUR resume truly "FIT" your career objectives?

Professional Members of our Association are both knowledgeable and creative in how they deliver materials and knowledge to both the Candidates they serve and our colleagues.  Often, when there are controversial issues involved, they choose to document "their points."  This may involve actual market research or academic conceptual research--but also allows for pure opinion in expressing their delivery approaches.

PUBLISHED NARRATIVES...

Professional Members of our Association are both knowledgeable and creative in how they deliver materials and knowledge to both the Candidates they serve and our colleagues.  Often they choose to write about their views in recognized publications and the Internet.  The defining matter, here, is actual publication.

CASE HISTORIES...

Professional Members of our Association are both knowledgeable and creative in how they deliver materials and knowledge to both the Candidates they serve and our colleagues.  Often they choose to demonstrate a concept or delivery approach by writing up a supportive CASE HISTORY.  The defining matter, here, is actual reflection of a real Candidate episode.
