Who are our members?
ACP International has more than 2000 members who
bring global experiences from both independent practices and large
firms. Represented in more than 36 countries, our members specialize in
all aspects of career management including assessment, coaching,
outplacement, and employee retention.

prospective clients, and peers that you are committed to upholding the

International provides its members with numerous networking
opportunities and the latest information on trends and issues facing the

| Being a Volunteer Leader
We are pleased to provide you with information about ACP
International that should help you in your leadership. A review of these
materials will enable you to better understand the processes and activities of
the Association and assist you in making decisions and providing direction
during chapter meetings.

Our History
As a first step, we would like to put you in
touch with a NEW CHAPTER MENTOR, who can address your immediate thoughts and
issues and direct you toward effective resources. Further, please feel
free to talk with ACP International and National Officers—as well as ACP
International’s Executive Director—to clarify or get additional details on any
information you seek relative to MEW MEMBERSHIP or CHAPTER DEVELOPMENT.
CHAPTER LEADERSHIP INFORMATION
To support available mentorship, we provide our Chapter
leaders with a complete "how-to" Manual. This Manual includes 8 key sections that we believe will be
helpful. We recognize that as a Chapter "volunteer leader," one of your greatest assets lies
in the freedom to organize your chapter as you see fit for your region.
Accordingly, many of the documents included in this manual are resources and
templates for you to use as you deem appropriate. We encourage you to edit and
use the documents that will help you carry out your chapter’s mission.
We also welcome
suggestions from Chapter Leaders regarding different approaches for presenting
this information or additional material that would be helpful. Those suggestions
can be made to the ACP International President, the President-Elect, or the
Executive Director.
